Howling to the heavens that Friday is the most awesome day of the week is a cliché for a reason–because for most people it’s true. It’s time to decompress, get your party on, maybe even tear up a dancefloor or two. Even if that dancefloor is just your living room.
In honor of the usually frightening Friday the 13th folk tales, we took our time machine back to a year when dance music was fun, upbeat, and positive: 1990. No better way to balance out the bad juju with some party rock mojo from artists like [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Madonna[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Janet Jackson[/lastfm], [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]C+C Music Factory[/lastfm], and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Deee-Lite[/lastfm].

Alright, stop. Collaborate and listen.
