A large crowd is expected tonight, Wednesday May 23, at the EastLake Tavern & Bowl (881 Showroom Place, Chula Vista, 91914) tonight for the culmination of Jessica Sanchez’s remarkable American Idol run.

All season long, the 16-year-old Chula Vistan has taken to the Idol stage with the confidence and refined talent of a much more experienced performer. Now, Sanchez and her many fans and supporters will find out if she has done enough to capture the title of “American Idol.”

KyXy 96.5′s morning show producer Little Tommy, a native of Chula Vista, will emcee the event scheduled to run from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. The EastLake Middle School Choir, the group Sanchez herself sang in as a youth, will also be on hand to entertain attendees. Special t-shirts will be for sale throughout the evening. The entire community is invited to attend the final American Idol-themed viewing party to show its support for Sanchez.
