Yes, there I am hamming it up with cast members backstage at the Moonlight Amphitheatre in Vista. I love this venue. What a family-friendly place! Their entire staff is fantastic and it was made even better by the wonderful KyXy listeners we had in the audience.

I was in attendance for opening night of their 32nd summer season featuring Legally Blonde – the Musical. Based on the fun film starring Reese Witherspoon, this production has some truly fantastic songs. The crowd went nuts for “Omigod You Guys”, “Daughter of Delta Nu” and my favorite “Chip on my Shoulder.”

The whole cast is wonderful; lead by Emma Degerstedt who, like her character Elle Woods, is a recent UCLA graduate and sorority member. Legally Blonde – The Musical runs through July 14th and it’s a “must-see” – I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

I’ll be back at Moonlight Amphitheatre for their opening night of Fiddler On The Roof on July 25th. Like the cast and I sung backstage, “There’s no business like show business…”
