80’s kids, hold on to your heartstrings, the Teddy Ruxpin revamp is a nostalgia T.K.O.
The animatronic teddy bear was one of the first of it’s kind, telling stories with corresponding facial expressions through cassette tape — Yeah, remember those?
Well, Wicked Cool Toys is bringing the bear back with upgraded technology (obviously.)
The new Teddy has over 40 full color LCD eye animations and an internal hard drive with 10 stories pre-programmed, with more available to download, according to International Business Times. Teddy’s hard drive should have enough space to hold, roughly, 40 stories.
The official launch for the toy is August 2017.
