There’s no place like home. We can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like to grow up on Neverland Ranch, but we’re sure it was magical.
Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris Jackson lived in the ranch until 2005, when her family switched residences. Yesterday 18-years-old Paris made a pilgrimage back to her childhood home.
“It feels so good to be home even for a little bit,” Paris wrote on an Instagram photo of the ranch’s front exterior.
Her boyfriend accompanied her on the trip, where they spent time walking the grounds and visiting with some of the animals stabled there.
Paris has said previously that someday she would like to restore Neverland and open it up to children in need.
“It still has good energy. I think it should be restored to how it used to be so that the chidren who coudn’t have a childhood could have fun there. That was his goal — like kids in a hsopital. They could restore all the rides and everything. As soon as I’m an adult, I’m on it. Count on it,” Paris told Mail on Sunday’s Event Magazine in 2011.
The property was acquired by Michael Jackson in 1981 and has been on the market for $100 million since 2015.
