bentley KyXys Kritter of the Week: Bentley

Bentley is the KYXY Kritter of the week at your Rancho Coastal Humane Society. He’s a 1-1/2 year old, 54 pound, male, Pointer / Terrier mix.

He arrived at Rancho Coastal Humane Society on Valentine’s Day. He and the 17 other dogs were transferred from overcrowded animal shelters and rescues in 3 southern states. Bentley was transferred through the Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS) program.

We asked the care providers in the kennels to describe Bentley in one word. They all said he’s “Sweet.” Beyond that, they said that’s he’s a southern gentleman who will become a terrific California dog. He’s an active guy who will need an active family that will take him on lots of adventures, then take him home to cuddle on the couch.

The $145 adoption fee for Bentley includes medical exam, vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. For more information call 760-753-6413, visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas, or log on to SDpets.org. Kennels and Cattery open 11 AM to 5 PM every day but Tuesday.

Kennels and Cattery are open 11 to 5 every day but Tuesday.
