Last night Little Tommy took the mound for the ceremonial first pitch at Padres vs. Brewers.
Pre-game, Tommy let us know that he had spent the weekend before training for the 60 ft. pitch to home.
Practicing to simply get it over the plate! I practiced with my friend Bob Bennett this morning. This afternoon, I went with my hair stylist's daughter Kennedy Layne and her friend Gabby. We met at Kit Carson. It was very nice of Kennedy to help. I'm smart enough to know I need to practice! I throw out the 1st pitch Monday night at the Padres game against the Brewers!
He even bought lucky Padres swag to help get him through it, and got helpful advice from followers like, “Never leave home without your balls.”
“Yes, I am nervous because I don’t want to go down like 50 Cent. I just need to throw it over,” He said. “Or Snoop. Snoop Dogg was worse.”
As you can see in the video that Tommy’s kids took, everything went according to plan. Game on!
