Aside from the panels, one of the highlights of Saturday’s San Diego Comic-Con had to be The Impractical Jokers.
Pranksters Murr, Q and Sal from the truTV show, The Impractical Jokers, were back for their 2nd annual block party.
Last year, 11,000 people packed the area in and around Dick’s Last Resort, but this year, their takeover grew to nearly 17,000 fans who converged onto the field at Petco Park.
The daylong block party featured a line-up of fan experiences lifted right from the show, plus exclusive merchandise from Spencer’s – including a new line of 3¾-inch Impractical Jokers action figures – a White Castle food truck, Wheel of Doom tattoos and a set from DJ G Money. The day’s interactive events included a virtual reality high wire experience, a “pseudo sumo” ring and mechanical bull riding.
The Impractical Jokers spent the day with fans, taking selfies, signing autographs, broadcasting a special Impractically Speaking live web show, and introduced an exclusive sneak peek of an upcoming episode.
